How aligners work
Aligners are made of plastic and are worn over the teeth. They apply pressure to the teeth to push them into the correct position. Each week or so, you will need to change your aligners and we will provide you with enough aligners to last for 6 weeks, after which time you will need to come and have a check-up, where we can give you more to take home with you. The aligners are made bespoke for your mouth, enabling them to be as comfortable as can be. We use iTero technology to digitally scan your mouth and to get the measurements we need to be able to get your aligners made to fit you as snugly as possible!
