After our oral examiner has detailed the process of Invisalign and taken all the necessary photographs, the construction of your custom-made Invialsign retainer sets will begin.
As no two sets of teeth are ever misaligned in an identical way, the process of making a customised retainer to perfectly match each patient can take some time. After being built though, the patient can take their retianers home and begin wearing them for at least 20-22 hours a day.
One of the biggest advantages of choosing Invisalign over conventional braces – besides the cosmetic advantages – is that the retaienrs can be taken out whenever the patient chooses to. This makes doing things such as attending important job interviews or socal events far easier as the retainer can be periodically removed and put back on without anyone knowing.
